2010 Colorado Puppy Rescue Alumni Homecoming

We love to celebrate and promote dog adoption and happy furever home stories … this week’s featured group is leaving their mark on dog adoption and hosting a party to celebrate all of the happy endings … Colorado Puppy Rescue.
2010 Colorado Puppy Rescue Alumni Homecoming
Date: Sunday, September 12th
Hours: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Location: Clement Park in Littleton
Colorado Puppy Rescue is a no-kill rescue for young puppies. 2010 Colorado Puppy Rescue Alumni Homecoming is the first event celebrating all of the great families that have come to the rescue and adopted the 4,500 puppies since 2005. The free event invites these families as well as their 40 active volunteers and 60 fosters. You can also connect with local vendors and trainers and play games and win prizes.
If you are interested in being a vendor or a corporate sponsor, contact Colorado Puppy Rescue. Contact Regina Lane at Alumni@coloradopuppy.org.
The mission of Colorado Puppy Rescue shall be to rescue young puppies needing homes, provide them with medical attention and place them into an adoptive home. Of particular interest will be rescue efforts carried out primarily in rural areas of great need. Colorado Puppy Rescue provides a placement system whereby puppies that are not accepted by other organizations for whatever reason, can be placed into homes, rather than be destroyed. These puppies may have been turned into the shelters by the owners or simply been left on the side of the road and picked up by shelter workers.
The next adoption event is Tuesday, August 24 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. (or until all of the puppies have been adopted.) at the Petco at I-25 and Colo. Blvd. To adopt a puppy from the Puppy Rescue you will need to make a personal visit to our adoption event. Puppies are only available for viewing and adoption at Adoption Events because they are a shelter-less rescue and their puppies stay at foster homes during the week.
For more information visit the Colorado Puppy Rescue website or friend them on Facebook.

Thanks for posting this! We had a great time. There were 90 dogs and about 120 people at our Homecoming. Not bad for the first time. Next year we’re going to start getting the word out early. I’m working on posting all of the photos of our happy families now. They’ll be up on our website next week. Thank you so much for your support!
